A wireless sensor network is a distributed network composed of several sensor nodes.Each node can collect environmental data information and realize information interaction through wireless communication.However,the problem of energy limitation severely limits the development of wireless sensor networks.In order to solve the environmental pollution caused by lithium batteries and the high cost,energy harvesting technology is applied to wireless sensor networks.Energy harvesting equipment converts energy from the surrounding environment into electrical energy,replacing the battery to power wireless sensor nodes.However,the instability of the energy harvesting process makes the energy harvesting equipment unable to provide continuous and stable power,which seriously affects the overall performance of the wireless sensor network system.This paper designs a wireless sensor network based on energy harvesting technology.Its design work includes: design and test energy harvesting equipment;design and manufacture of power management circuit;design and complete low-power wireless sensor nodes.The energy-aware switch in the power management circuit is the main way to reduce the energy consumption of the node from the hardware point of view,and also ensures the intelligent cross-correlation management of the energy between the energy storage module and the node.The power management circuit has the function of maximum power point tracking,which can avoid the problem that the transmission efficiency is too low due to impedance mismatch between the power load and the energy collecting device.In the system,three kinds of energy harvesting devices,namely thermoelectric generator,piezoelectric vibration energy generator and magnetic vibration generator,are used as the power supply.The collected voltage is processed by the power management circuit to become a stable DC voltage,and then tested.Power generation performance of three power generation equipment.The design of wireless sensor nodes is mainly from low power consumption,reducing the energy consumption of nodes from both hardware and software perspectives.In addition to theoretical analysis,this paper has been fabricated and tested to enable the energy harvester to provide power to wireless sensor nodes.As researchers continue to make breakthroughs in the field of microelectronics technology,the design of wireless sensor communication networks will be more low-power and more miniaturized,and the application of energy harvesting technology in this field will become more and moreextensive.
