The Research Of Energy Aware Technology In Wireless Sensor Networks

The processing of sensor technology, MEMS(Micro-electromechanical Systems), modern networks and communication technology, which is drived the birth and development of the modern significance wireless sensor networks.Node is the basic unit in WSN. According to the WSN, the sensor nodes are battery driven and it is impractical to recharge the batteries for so many nodes.So the designing of low power consumption sensor nodes is very important for the lifecycle of the WSN.This thesis made a research of current power saving technology, analyzed energy consuption characteristic and nodes'energy saving method. Author's main work concentrates as follows:1. Analyse the characteristics of WSN power consumption, ensure that the wireless communication is the main part of energy consumption. Carry out energy conversation design from software and hardware. Firstly, to decrease the energy consumption of sensor nodes.Control the component states of nodes through sofeware program design, Design energy aware communication protocol.2. Design low power consumption sensor nodes, based on the practical requirement and the ulter-low power consumption designing principle of electronic circuit,In the nodes, the microcontroller is MSP430F149 single chip computer.According to the nRF technology develop a simple data communication frame format to reduce the amount of data wireless communications. Realize a point-to-multipoint communications network.
