The Designed And Applied Of Auto-generated Reporting For Banking Enterprise

Since the PRC goes deep into the internationalization step by step,too many foreign capital enterprises such as banking and insurance come into china and rebuilding Chinese sub-company or office.Indeed,all kinds of reports requested from internal inspection and management organization such as china central bank and foreign currency management department can not be generated by the current business system.This thesis mainly focus on the research auto generates report system.The current business system for foreign capital enterprises only generates the reports with it's owned system,and it will let user click the ‘Generate XX Report' button on the system menu or main page,this kind of operation maybe caused the resource and time of front-end machine be used,and maybe cause the resource and time of server be used too.And it is slow speed when it generates report,and it is not convenient because it is manually.The best disadvantage is it do not generate reports for different business system and different area,and it do not generate the reports for request from internal inspection and management organization,and it cause the report missing and delay.Anyway efficiency is low.This thesis researched main focus on design and development a new report auto generating system that is used the current baking system's data.It runs on the back-end server,it is auto run and it is auto generate the report.Its efficiency is high because it is auto run on the back-end server.It does not use the resource and time for front-end machine,and it does not cause the report missing and delay.The first,current banking system will auto generate the interface file and transfer it to middle server(UNIX)with the mainframe file transfer technique,then the download interface file program module of the report auto generating system get the interface file from the middle sever with SFTP protocol,then verify the file by program ensure the file is correct.After that the data loading program module load the data into the database one by one file and one by one line that the file get from different system.Because the current banking system's data can not satisfy the all report's request,the absent data will be input by end user manually.This means the end user will access the WEB server with browser after login with the correct user and password,the maker user input the data and then audit by checker user to ensure the input data is correct.After the data audit,the report auto generating program module will auto generate the report on back-end on the non work time.The reports include the current business system's reports,and include the different department and different area reports.It includes the different branch's reports,and it includes the upper branch's reports and china general branch's reports.And it generates the reports request by internal inspection and management organization such as china central bank and foreign currency management department.Some reports are Chinese language another is English language because the foreign capital enterprise is required the English language reports but the reports for internal inspection and management organization are Chinese language.It is not different with Chinese report and English report when the reports generate,only the difference is the template is not same.The Chinese report is with Chinese template and the English report is with English template.The report auto generate on the back-end by day(T+1,it is the next day of the business day in the banking system).The report type include daily,weekly,ten-days period,half-monthly,monthly,quarterly,half-yearly and yearly.The report files will be put the special folder of the report file server,the user that has access right(the maker and checker user have the access right for general branch and every branch)only access the report file server can check,download and print the report.The general branch's user can access the all branch's reports and the branch user only accesses his owned branch's reports.This thesis solved to verify the report result's method is compare the real data with the generated reports data to ensure the report result is correct for all reports and all lines data one by one.For some no data report that found in test procedure will be added test case and modified the test data to match the report condition and then re-generate the report and verify the data until all data for report is correct.This thesis researched content-auto generated report system on the back-end is applied for a little enterprise applications practically.It has wide foreground.It may apply for the building the report system for foreign capital banking and apply for the insurance and telecom industry or other internal and foreign enterprise.
