With widespread application of RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)labels in various fields,its market has developed rapidly.And its market value is increasing year by year especially in the context of the development of the Internet of Things(IoT)in recent years.As a productive device for RFID labels,RFID label printer has huge market potential.The RFID label printer of Chinese brand is in early stages of development,and many key technical issues remain unresolved.The foreign brands of RFID label printer dominate the domestic market at present,and domestic brands have very few market holding.And there is no small portable RFID label printer on the market.Therefore,it's worth developing self-owned RFID label printer for China's market.This paper starts with the research background and significance of RFID label printer,analyzes the current research status and existing problems of RFID label printers,and determines the functional scheme of RFID label printer by analyzing its design requirements and key technologies.The main content of research is from the aspects of printer's visual printing quality,electronic data writing research of RFID label,printer's IoT(Internet of Things)function solution and embedded function implementation of RFID label printer.Among them,the research of printing quality mainly solves precision control of heating of thermal transfer printing to ensure distinct image.Time control during electronic data is wrote into label and data verification of wrote data are used to ensure accuracy in the study of electronic data writing of RFID label.The subject applies the Internet of Things access technology to the printer to realize printer's consumables anti-counterfeiting authentication and collection of printing data based on background service and other IoT functions.The implementation of printer's embedded features focuses on embedded software design.The embedded real-time operating system is introduced,and each function of printer is implemented by scheduling and communication of tasks of operating system.The software design is implemented according to the embedded software design architecture,thereby realizing the whole function of the printer.Finally,the prototype of RFID label printer is completed,and functions of the printer are tested.The test results show that printed image of visual printing is clear,and electronic data-writing accuracy rate of target RFID labels is over 99%.It realizes the printer's anti-counterfeiting certification and data-collecting function,which has good network performance,and overall design meets the expected design requirements.
