With the continuous integration between industrialization and informatization, some new industrial networks are emerging, including WIA-PA(Wireless Networks for Industrial Automation-Process Automation)and Time-Sensitive Network(TSN),which are the typical representative of it.WIA-PA is an industrial wireless network standard independently developed by China. It has the characteristics of convenient deployment, low energy consumption, strong real-time performance, high flexibility, and deterministic transmission. It has become the official international standard of IEC.TSN is a set of real-time transmission standard developed by IEEE 802.1 working group to change the uncertainty of Ethernet, which can realize the simultaneous transmission of periodic data and non-periodic data,real-time data and large-capacity non-real-time data.In the actual factory network, the network is often composed of a mixture of multiple networks such as wired and wireless. The wireless network has become a useful supplement to the wired network, and the problem of protocol conversion between different industrial networks is becoming more and more important. However, the current research on WIA-PA and TSN is mainly focused on each other. There is no research on the mutual conversion between the two networks, which restricts the joint deployment of these two new networks in the actual factory network.Aiming at these problems, this thesis studies and puts forward the conversion mechanism between WIA-PA network and Time-Sensitive Network to realize the protocol conversion and characteristic retention between the two networks. The main works of the thesis is as follows:1.This thesis analyzes the existing researches and key technologies of WIA-PA network and Time-Sensitive Network, then, the characteristics and implementation methods of WIA-PA protocol stack are studied. The key issues that need to be solved between WIA-PA network and TSN are summarized.2.A WIA-PA network and TSN transformation mechanism based on data flow mapping is proposed. The mechanism includes a set of conversion methods such as priority conversion method, flow recognition conversion method, address conversion method,cross-network clock synchronization method and bandwidth reservation method. At the same time, the proposed transformation mechanism supports IPv6.The conversion between WIA-PA and TSN can be realized effectively.3.The proposed conversion mechanism between WIA-PA and TSN is implemented. The implementation of the transformation mechanism is divided into WIA-PA coordinator unit, protocol transformation unit and TSN forwarding unit. The WIA-PA data is forwarded in the coordinator unit, and the clock synchronization within the WIA-PA network and with the clock source is completed. In the protocol conversion unit, priority conversion, flow recognition conversion and address conversion are realized.Clock synchronization and bandwidth reservation in TSN network are realized in TSN forwarding unit.4.Based on WIA-PA communication equipment,TSN switch and related software platform, the protocol conversion test system is built. The designed scheme is verified by experiments and the results are analyzed. The test results show that the conversion mechanism between the WIA-PA network and the Time-Sensitive Network proposed in this thesis can effectively realize the mutual conversion between the two network data streams, and the network characteristics such as data stream priority and flow identification are maintained. At the same time, the conversion mechanism has some advantages in conversion time and so on.The research in this thesis is valuable for the deployment and development of TSN and industrial wireless network.
