Radar target simulator is a special test equipment for radar system.It plays an important role in the entire life cycle of radar system,such as development,testing,troubleshooting,performance evaluation and routine rehearsal.At present,the broadband phased array technology represents the development trend in the field of radar detection and precision guidance,which also puts forward higher requirements for the new radar target simulator.Therefore,Research on several key technology of target simulators for broadband phased array radar is very necessary.In this paper,a research institute of wideband phased array radar target simulator research and development project as the background,the parameters of high resolution radar target echo control technology,wideband radar target echo simulation technology based on the three-dimensional model,wideband multi-channel amplitude and phase consistency compensation technology is studied.First of all,this paper uses the pipeline delay control technology to improve the parallel delay accuracy FPGA-based and the accuracy of distance simulation and speed simulation.Based on this,a high-precision multi-channel delay control method based on high performance variable fractional delay filter is proposed.The simulation and experimental analysis show that this method is more stable than the traditional Farrow structure variable fractional delay Technology,not only can further improve the delay control accuracy,but also save a lot of multiplier and adder resources,reducing the computational complexity of the filter coefficient.Secondly,this paper studies the real-time simulation of wideband radar target echo using three-dimensional target model,and gives the engineering realization of broadband target echo real-time simulation based on three-dimensional model.In this paper,from the establishment of the target scattering characteristic database to the storage and transmission of electromagnetic data,combined with the echo frequency domain convolution algorithm based on the overlap reservation method,a complete simulation and verification of the target echo of wideband radar is realized on the simulator hardware platform.Finally,we study the channel amplitude phase consistency compensation technology of broadband multi-channel target simulator,mainly introduce the multi-channel mismatch model in frequency domain,and then the algorithm of frequency domain compensation of channel consistency is analyzed in detail based on weighted least squares fitting,and combine the two channel mismatch models to compensate algorithm Have carried on the simulation verification.
