Compared with phased array radar,MIMO(Multi-Input Multi-Output)radar can improve target detection performance,increase angle measurement accuracy,reduce the minimum detectable speed and have higher spatial resolution.At present,MIMO radar has become a research hotspot in the field of radar.During the research and development of the miniaturized and high-performance missile-borne MIMO radar seeker,in order to realize the goal of the front-end indicators of the radar system and solve the problem of the signal processor's hardware and software functional test relying on the radar seeker's external field experiment,It is of great significance to develop a multi-channel radar echo generation system that can realize multiple radar functions and simulate different test environments.This thesis has completed the development of the MIMO radar echo simulator in response to the functional test requirements of the MIMO radar seeker.The main work is as follows:A multi-module MIMO radar echo simulator platform is designed,which includes multichannel signal acquisition board,multi-channel signal playback board,main control board,clock board,Host computer display control software and Radio frequency channels with an output frequency ranging from 14 GHz to 18 GHz,which realize The high-precision synchronous design of multi-channel signal playback and acquisition as well as the parallel control processing capability of multi-channel signals.The design of MIMO radar array target waveform generation is completed.According to the complex and changeable scenarios that MIMO radar may encounter under the condition of bomb loading,the target and environment models are constructed and simulate the interference and clutter signals involved in the environment models.The host computer display and control software of the simulator is designed.By configuring the radar parameters,the waveform data containing target information,interference and clutter is generated,and the function of controlling the data is realized.For the multi-channel signal accurate transmission and acquisition method,the on-line calibration technique of multi-channel amplitude and phase consistency was studied,and the calibration and calibration of multi-channel amplitude and phase errors of receiving and transmitting multichannels were carried out.The performance of the hardware platform of the MIMO radar echo simulator designed in this thesis was tested,realizing the function of the MIMO multi-waveform orthogonal signal transmission and acquisition and verifying the signal output capability of the simulator in the intermediate frequency working mode and the Radio frequency working mode.In addition,the MIMO radar target echo signal in a complex environment is generated by further simulation,and the performance of the simulator was verified by simulating the field test workflow.
