With the explosive growth of the Internet and the growth of various services,the IPv4 protocol has promoted the prosperity and development of computer network communications,and has gradually exposed limitations,such as the exhaustion of IP address resources,the weak scalability of the network architecture,and the lack of security,unbalanced development,unfairness,lack of QOS support,and difficulties in supporting mobility.In order to solve a series of problems existing in the above-mentioned IPv4 protocol,relevant organizations have researched the new generation of Internet protocols,among which the IPv6 protocol and the IPv9 protocol have attracted the attention of experts.The IPv6 protocol is designed by the IETF and sovereignty is still in the hands of the United States;The IPv6 protocol is designed by the IETF and sovereignty has always been controlled by the United States;The IPv9 protocol was independently developed by Shanghai Decal Network Information Technology Co.Ltd.,and intellectual property rights are entirely owned by China.First of all,this thesis elaborates on the IPv9 protocol of China's independent intellectual property rights,and introduces related knowledge points such as IPv9 header format,IPv9 address protocol,and digital domain name.It studies and analyzes the main characteristics of related technologies such as IPv9 header format,IPv9 address protocol,and digital domain name,and some related technical standards.It also compares and analyzes the three protocols of IPv4,IPv6,and IPv9.Secondly,in the process of transition from IPv4 to IPv9,the design of the transition plan and the transition technology used in the transition plan are the issues that this thesis focuses on.For the transition period,based on the research of the dual stack technology,tunneling technology and network address-protocol conversion technology transition technology,this thesis designs a transition solution using tunnel technology and network address-protocol conversion technology based on actual conditions.According to the design of the transition plan,this thesis uses dedicated routers,switches and other equipment to build an IPv9 experimental network test environment.Then,in order to solve the problem that the user cannot use the Windows system to access the IPv9 website,this thesis designs an extension plug-in for the IPv9 protocol stack.Based on the LwIP protocol stack running in windows system,this thesis modified the LwIP file and code and ported the IPv9 related protocol to LwIP.Windows clients running this software can access the relevant services of the IPv9 network.Finally,in the established IPv9 experimental network platform,this thesis uses the Wireshark test software to simply test the packet format of the IPv9 protocol,the IPv4/IPv9 protocol conversion function,the IPv4/IPv9 protocol logical isolation function,and the IPv9 over IPv4 tunnel function.Experimental results show that IPv9 achieves expected performance and the designed plug-in for the IPv9 protocol stack has reached the use effect.With the continuous improvement and development of IPv9 related technologies,the IPv9 protocol can solve the problems faced by IPv4 and gradually meet people's needs for the development of the Internet.
