The RF transciver teaching platform plays a important role in the teaching of RF circuit and communication theory.As a key module in this transciver teaching kit,the digital front end is for the signal transmission and control between the RF module and the host computer and complete the sampling,transform and display,etc.In consideration of the strong data processing capacity of FPGA,the convenient data acquisition and analysis of LabVIEW and the high-speed data transmission of USB,this thesis presents a system architecture based on USB+FPGA+AD/DA.It realizes the basic functions of the digital front-end in the RF transceiver teaching platform.This main work of this thesis is as follows : Firstly,the entire structure of digital front-end is designed.Secondly,the selection of USB,AD/DA and FPGA chips and the design of their peripheral circuits is completed based on digital front-end structure,then the PCB layout design and fabrication of the digital front end have been completed.Thirdly,the program is compiled to complete the drive and control of AD/DA and USB chips.At the same time,the software running on the host is developed by LabVIEW for displaying the received signals.Finally,the teaching platform is tested and verified.
