| The high performance radio frequency (RF) front-end is one of the key parts of the RF test set. Its function and precision directly influence the performance of the RF test set and so it has become one technique-bottleneck to realize the RF test set.The thesis derives from the project of "Development of High Performance RF Front-End in Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) platform", which is collaborated with Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of PRC. This Universal RF front-end has to not only deal with all kinds of narrowband or wideband signals whose frequency range is from 800 MHz to 2.5GHz and receive level range form-70dBm to 30dBm, also meet the requirement of frequent switch of frequency and level. The digital front-end (DFE) discussed in this thesis is basical but pivotal for the realization of the strategy platform of RF Test Set, which is an important part of the strategy platform of RF Test Set by implementing the high speed digital intermediate frequency (IF) or baseband signal processing and digital compensation for RF transceiver.The thesis is involved in all the software and hardware R&D flow, including requirement analyse, general design, particular design, schematic design, coding and debugging, and so on, focusing on the research, design and realization of the RF digital front-end for mutli-standands. The main contents of this thesis are organized as below:1. The origin of the task and the key difficult points and meaning of the research are introduced.2. The whole design scheme of the digital front-end of RF transceiver is introduced. And the performance parameters and the key questions of DFE are especially emphasized.3. The main aim of this thesis is focused on the design and realization the DFE, which has been ulteriorly dissertated from transmiter, receiver, and phase-locked loop separately.4. In order to verify DFE, its test is operated.5. The experience in the progress of project development is summarized at the end part of this thesis. |
