Due to the influence of natural factors,the climate and living conditions vary from place to place,and different cultures emerge as the times require.The birth of ice and snow culture is not only influenced by the natural environment,but also by the people living in the environment and the things and activities derived therefrom.Taking ice and snow culture as the main design object,this paper analyses the purpose and significance of studying ice and snow culture.From the perspective of development,it integrates ice and snow related things and activities in content design,and combines virtual reality and material point method in technology application to design and implement a virtual ice and snow art exhibition system that integrates culture and entertainment.The main research contents and achievements are as follows:With the approaching of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games,China's ice and snow industry has entered a blowout period,and all parts of the country are strengthening the construction and publicity of ice and snow industry.The way,breadth and speed of information dissemination in the Internet era are unparalleled in any past era.After analyzing the development and research status of ice and snow culture at home and abroad,taking into account the general environment of social development,making use of the current policy and technological advantages,reducing the impact of time and space on the spread of ice and snow culture,expanding the influence and dissemination of ice and snow culture,such research has a positive significance for the inheritance and development of ice and snow culture.The data collection of ice and snow culture is completed by combining documentation and field investigation.Considering the dual attributes of system culture and entertainment,some representative ice and snow elements are selected selectively from the collected data and integrated into the system design.The system design considers from many aspects such as characteristic activities,national culture,game and entertainment,and forms a system integrating culture and entertainment.The system integrates the ice and snow culture in the design concept,and presents some elements of ice and snow culture through digital means,which is the protection and connotation expansion of culture.On the technical level,the application of virtual reality technology brings new experience mode of ice andsnow culture,and the simulation of the dynamic effect of snow by material point method improves the experience of the system.Based on the cultural attributes of the system itself and the characteristics of user groups,this paper evaluates the system from two aspects of system availability analysis and user satisfaction survey.The content of the evaluation includes the evaluation of system style design,function realization,operation mode and so on.It analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the current system from different angles,and determines the direction of future improvement and expansion of the system design through data analysis results.
