A Comparative Study Of News Discursive Construction Between Newspaper And WeChat

In the era of mobile Internet,the living space of traditional paper media has been sharply compressed due to the change of users' access to information.In the process of traditional media transformation,a large number of paper media gradually shifted the key construction work of new media platforms to the WeChat public platform.The WeChat public account has become the main means for traditional media to new media.However,the traditional news discourse system is difficult to adapt to the new network context in the complex and ever-changing Internet environment.The same media organization has different discourse features in the discourse construction of the same topic news.Therefore,this paper conducts a related research on the discourse construction of the same-language news in the West China Metropolis Daily paper and its WeChat public account,analyzes the similarities and differences between traditional discourse and new media discourse system,studies the influencing factors of news discourse construction based on the background of social culture,discusses the problems existing in the practice of discourse construction and puts forward suggestions for improvement.This paper combines the three research methods of literature research method,content analysis method and case analysis method,selects the West China Metropolis Daily as the specific research object,and January 20,2018 to January 20,2019 as the selected date.The same issue in the paper media and WeChat public account as a research sample for detailed comparative analysis,respectively,from the two levels of text and context to explore the different discourse construction in the same topic news.In the study of discourse texts,this thesis studies the comparison of the titles,pictures,words,sentence patterns and rhetoric of the two from the perspective of the macro structure and micro structure of discourse.In the discourse context research,this paper starts from the two aspects of the production of news discourse and the understanding of news discourse,and analyzes and discusses the manuscript source,narrative perspective,report type and narrative structure of the paper media and WeChat public account.Under the influence of political power,technology development and audience demand,the traditional paper media and new media of the West China Metropolis Daily have formed distinctive discourse systems in the construction of news discourse.At the same time,this paper also points out that there are some shortcomings in the practice of the discourse system.It is suggested that the two rationally draw on the traditional and socialized news narrative.On the one hand,traditional media should satisfy the audience's discourse needs,enrich the expression of news discourse content,and establish the subjective status of the audience.On the other hand,new media should pay attention to the originality of content production,establish the brand identity of the public account,and strengthen the news review mechanism to ensure the authenticity of the news.
