The network self-made series is the product of the network society.It greatly caters to the diversified needs and aesthetics of the netizen.It is a type of film and television that deeply combines with the user's psychology.Due to the young orientation in the network user group attributes,the youth group naturally becomes the main audience of the network self-made series.Therefore,the content of the online self-made series must meet the cultural interest and psychological needs of the youth,and it will inevitably become the carrier of the youth subculture.This thesis takes the youth subculture as the research horizon,and takes the Chinese online self-made series as the holistic research object.On the basis of grasping the relationship between the two,this thesis explores the representation practice of the youth subculture in the network self-made series.The youth subculture completes the operation of its representation and the output of its characteristics through style symbols and the composition of style.The practice of "style" behavior promotes the personal identification and group identity of the youth groups,to a certain extent,it satisfies their need for entertainment enjoyment,discourse expression,and resistance.The thesis is divided into the following five parts.The first chapter is about the concept of network self-made series and combing its historical development and status quo.The second chapter analyzes the relationship between online self-made series and youth subculture,and distinguishes youth subcultural phenomenon among them.And,the characteristics of the youth subculture in network self-made series are depicted.The third chapter deeply analyzes the practice and characterization of young subcultures representation in online self-made series from three aspects:style symbol,style representation and style effect.The fourth chapter is to clarify the meaning of the youth subculture representation through the analysis of the power of style expression.The fifth chapter is to discern the value lost phenomenon caused by the improper representation of youth subculture in the network self-made series,and to determine the guiding strategy of mainstream value leadership,subculture diversity and moderate expression.On this basis,quality optimization proposals with contents as the core are put forward.
