The ionosphere is one of the key layers of the near-Earth space environment.The detection of the ionosphere is of great value in the fields of wireless communication,navigation and positioning.Incoherent scatter radar(ISR)has become an important ground device for ionospheric detection.In view of the complexity of the ISR system structure and detection targets,the simulation of radar detection performance,the extraction of ionospheric parameters and error analysis are important research issues in this field.In this paper,based on the echo signal-to-noise ratio and relative error,the model of the relationship between signal-to-noise ratio,detection accuracy,detection range and integration time is established,and the simulation of detection performance is studied.In addition,the algorithm and theory in the extraction process of ionospheric parameters are studied,and the parameter extraction and error analysis of the measured data are carried out.The main research work is as follows:The first part: design parameters of Sanya incoherent scatter radar prototype based on phased array system,the simulation of radar detection performance is completed.The antenna pattern model is established,the simulation of detection performance at different scanning angles and the influence of diurnal variation and other factors on detection performance are considered.when the zenith angle of radar beam is larger than 23°,the detection performance is obviously weakened.The performance of nighttime detection is weaker than that of daytime,the weakening of the nighttime performance can be compensated by increasing the incoherent integration time.The second part: the power spectrum and ambiguity function theory are studied.Based on the power spectrum method's parameter extraction process,combined with the nonlinear least squares method(Levenberg-Marquardt method)and parameter inversion error analysis theory,the power spectrum fitting process is studied,and the parameter extraction and error analysis of the measured data are completed.
