Passive location technology is very important for radio management and electronic reconnaissance.In the passive location technology,most of the attention focus on the arrival angle of the radio wave,the time difference of arrival,the frequency difference,and so on.Very little attention cares about the power difference of arrival;however,the power of arrival is relatively easy to obtain.The purpose of this paper is to study the use of mobile monitoring of the power of arrival data and GPS data,and more accurately position the source.A passive location method is proposed,the optimal model of passive location is established.The position of the radiation source is solved by using the power of arrival data and GPS data;Random select radiation source location,and utilize radio wave propagation model to get the estimation error.Due to the different forms of error,which has absolute value and mean variance forms,establish optimization models of two kinds to predict error.Utilizing Optimization algorithm,locate the radiation source.Analyzed the accuracy of two kinds of optimization model,stochastic convergence effect through experiments.Especially analyzed the two convergent positions of the similarity of the optimization model that based on the mean square error.Based on the analysis of the success rate of its positioning,it proved that the optimization model is feasible to locate the source of the radiation.In order to improve the positioning accuracy,proposed best k value algorithm to optimize coefficient for lg(d)and GPS filtering algorithm for GPS data to remove the serious error.After analyzed the characteristics of the relationship between the location error and the related parameters,proposed a optimization algorithm by using particle swarm optimization algorithm to the parameter,the positioning error and stabilized in a relatively small range.It also found that some GPS data might have relatively large errors,which will affect the positioning accuracy of the radiation source.In order to improve the positioning accuracy,proposed a filtering algorithm for GPS data.The experimental results show that these two algorithms have great help to improve the localization accuracy of passive location algorithm based on optimization modeling.
