Wavelength Selective Switch(WSS)is a key sub-system of the new generation of reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexers(ROADMs).With the requirement of”wide bandwidth,low latency" network requirements,the cost and size of WSS modules have become the main obstacles limiting the rapid expansion of ROADM systems.How to reduce the production cost of WSS modules is also very important.Therefore,how to effectively improve the testing efficiency of WSS modules is an important engineering practice issue.At present,the traditional WSS production test system is tested with equipment and software provided by professional equipment manufacturers.However,the existing test system uses the device software provided by the manufacturer,and cannot adapt to the flexible and varied WSS ruodule test requirements.At the same time,the wavelength accuracy of the entire test system is completely dependent on the device itself,and it cannot be monitored online.There is uncertainty in whether the system works normally.Moreover,the existing test system has the disadvantages of complicated test steps,low test efficiency,and high cost of equipment installation,and has gradually been unable to cope with higher and higher test requirements.To address the above problems,this thesis designs a wavelength scanning analysis system by using LabVIEW.The designed software realizes automatic and real-time calibration of the tunable laser output wavelength accuracy,which is free from the defects of the traditional test system.At the same time,the system has the function of real-time monitoring of wavelength accuracy,which improves the reliability of the test system.The wavelength scanning and data processing speed of the test system designed in this paper is greatly improved compared with the existing test system.
