In modern mechanical engineering, vibration test and analysis is a very important part. While the mechanical vibration tests need many elaborate test instruments, which lead to the requirement of plenty of manpower and material resource even on some simple testing work, especially to vehicle vibration test.With the development of computer and software, virtual instrument has become one direction of measurement fields. Therefore, the thesis research the portable vibration test and analysis system composed by Laboratory Virtual Instrument Workbench (LabVIEW) and some necessary hardware such as sensor and DAQ card etcetera. Real-time data acquisition and analysis can be achieved by the virtual vibration test& analysis system, at the same time the equipments will be reduced with the graphic programmer language Lab VIEW.The superincumbent blocking idea is exhibited evidently from the system design. The vibration signal sampling and data analysis are operated by system interface, as well as the result are displayed on the computer screen or written to hard disc. In this system, the signal sampling includes two kinds, free sampling and trigger sampling which corresponded to contiguous random sample and impact signal respectively. The main analysis procedure is made up of time domain, scope domain, frequency domain and joint time and frequency domain. The content involves Digital Filter, Auto Correlation, Cross Correlation, mean and standard deviation, probability density and probability distribution statistic, as well as Auto Power Spectrum based on Fast Flourier Transfer, Correct Power Spectrum, Cestrum and Frequency Response. The Short-time Flourier Transfer and Wavelet Transfer are included in the analysis program.The results of simulation and analysis for seat comfort performance comfortableness agree well with the former data by the system. By all appearances, it is feasible and correct to design the vehicle vibration test and analysis system by Lab VIEW software.
