With the rapid development of Internet information technology,a variety of learning devices have emerged, which broadens the channels of knowledge acquisition and exchange among college students and subtly changes their learning styles.Through abundant channels of information exchange, students break the barrier of time and space, actively participate in knowledge sharing outside the classroom, and at the same time threaten the library's position as an important knowledge hub in the minds of College students. In view of this, university libraries should define the service orientation, actively adjust the service policy, integrate the new learning methods and learning habits of university teachers and students, and increase the stickiness of users of University Libraries-Virtual Learning Commons emerges as the times require. The key service object of space is university teachers and students.Under the background of the increasingly mature Internet information technology, how to enhance the attraction of space and improve the utilization rate of space for users is particularly important. The key to solve this problem is to accurately grasp and maximize the actual needs of users and increase user experience. Therefore, this paper will focus on the application of Kano model to explore the needs of different types of university users for the service items of virtual learning commons in University libraries, excavate the behavior habits and preferences of university teachers and students in the process of knowledge exchange and acquisition, and provide a clearer direction for the construction of space. After consulting the literature about virtual learning sharing space, virtual learning community, reading community, social media and other fields,a Kano model questionnaire with 21 questions was developed from the three elements of service, interaction and resources, and 401 valid questionnaires were collected online and offline. Then, using Kano evaluation analysis method,21 functional items in thequestionnaire are classified, and Better-Worse index analysis method is further used to refine the demand types of functional items. Then Kano evaluation analysis method is continued to compare and analyze the demand differences among users with different educational background, users with different learning time, actual users and potential users, revealing the current university map.The library virtual learning commons is insufficient,at the same time,it also refines the direction of future space improvement. Finally, according to the analysis results of the data in the previous paper, the paper puts forward five suggestions for the sustainable development of virtual learning shared space in university libraries from five aspects:strengthening the protection of users' personal information, optimizing space construction technology, focusing on meeting the needs of different types of users, improving the capacity of space reference service, and carrying out the project of regional resource cooperation and sharing in University libraries,so as to accelerate the development of virtual learning commons in University libraries. The transformation and development of libraries will improve the status of University libraries.
