With the rapid development of China's machinery manufacturing industry in recent years and the arrival of Industry 4.0,it is also accompanied by the "Made in China 2025" strategy,which puts new demands on the traditional machinery manufacturing industry.Computer-aided mechanical product design is widely used in various fields of manufacturing.As an indispensable mechanical product in metallurgical equipment,slag pots naturally needs to be improved.The traditional casting slag bag has always faced problems such as easy cracking,short life,difficult to repair,and low design efficiency.This paper mainly focuses on the welding slag pots in the school-enterprise cooperation project “Research on Key Technology of Collaborative Design and Manufacturing of Mining Complete Equipment” conducted by Hefei University of Technology and Anhui Tongguan Machinery Co.,Ltd.A new type of welding slag pots is proposed.According to the enterprise standard requirements,a plug-in system based on SolidWorks2012 is designed to improve product design efficiency.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)A new type of welding method for slag pots structure is proposed,and the structure is gradually optimized through different stages of structure.The slag pots 3D model is divided and coded,and the parameter relationship between the components is established by the “equation” to prepare for the following parametric products and serial design.Then select the appropriate body material for welding,and compare with the traditional casting slag pots under the same working conditions.(2)After selecting the slag pots body material,analyze the welding process of the slag bag,determine the 3D model of the welding,select the welding method and write the welding process card.(3)Development of a standardized plug-in design system for enterprises.Secondary development of SolidWorks2012 in the VC6.0 environment,including product design module,attribute addition module,document management module.In the product design module,parametric modeling and serialized product generation can be performed on the components of the slag pots and the slag pots;Adding a module to the property can add attributes to the product drawing,or you can quickly add it by clicking the database information.The document management module mainly performs operations on documents,such as copying,encrypting,decrypting,etc.;The connection to the database of different operating systems and the installation and implementation of the design system.Through the structural design of the new welding slag pots,the strength and service life of the slag bag are improved,and the design system is greatly improved by the design system.The practical application shows that this research is of great significance for improving product quality,shortening development cycle and enhancing enterprise competitiveness.
