Research On The Role Of Media In Online Public Opinion Events

Based on the role theory as theoretical support,the marxist concept of news as methodology,from the aspect of theory and practice analysis of the media in the network public opinion events role play different stage of development,through the news media of"ought to be"combined with "reality",systematically studied the media role in different stage of development of the Internet public opinion events functional status,behavior patterns,the anomie situation,in order to enhance the role of the news media and its practitioners cognitive,enhances the working efficiency of the news public opinion.My paper will refine the development of network public opinion events phase for the incubation period,the outbreak period,height,stage fade and secondary public opinion,and think that the media play a network public opinion in different periods emphatically monitoring and early warning,public opinion information processing and interpretation,highlight the mainstream consensus building,the reflection of public opinion events such as "ought to"role,and the role in secondary phase public opinion in the media circle.This article through to the xiangshui chemical plant explosion,chongqing bus crash events,jiang Shang Lanlan case and so on several typical Internet public opinion events after the text analysis,statistical analysis and data analysis,found that the role of media in the absence of objective reporter role,role dislocation and role the offside,absence of the management role is"gatekeeper"role,"disposal and the respondents'anomie problems such as dislocation,and the emergence of these problems with the media lack of resistance to outside pressure,lack of crisis and the overall situation consciousness,the lack of information to verify check,and role play scenarios single are closely related.The paper argues that to solve the problem of media role anomia,we should start from two aspects:self-discipline and heteronomy.In terms of self-discipline(news media and practitioners),news media should play the roles of"public opinion guide","reflector"and"learner",and improve the training and check mechanism of the role of media.In the aspect of heteronomy(state and society),the legal system of media role regulation and protection should be improved,the construction of mainstream media should be strengthened,and the role of audience,government and media should be regulated mutually.At present,network public opinion is a hot topic in the research of news communication.The media has a specific function and status in network public opinion events.However,most studies on the role of media in the academic circle start from the perspective of news communication practice,which lacks a systematic grasp of the role of media in network public opinion events.In this paper,the network public opinion events and media role both"is",then through the analysis of the role of media in different developmental stages of the Internet public opinion events play a situation,the two"combination",make out the diversified functions of the media role natural and status,rich role expectation and behavior in different stage of Internet public opinion events targeted highlighted,enhancement of reality guiding sense.
