The paper concentrated on the reports of the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen and Cancun from five Chinese representative newspapers. People’s Daily. Southern Metropolis Daily, Southern Weekend,21st Century Economic Report, Science and Technology Daily. These media had different properties, and made lots of reports on the climate change issue. This study attempted to show the frame of climate change reports of domestic media with the method of discourse analysis, content analysis. With the help of depth interviews, the study also tried to explore the influencing factors of the frame.Through discourse analysis, the study combed the five media in the form of structure. Southern Metropolis Daily reported more events in the progress, Southern Weekend reported more background. Science and Technology Daily had more concern about the results of the issue,21st Century Economic Report focused more on comments and prediction. People’s Daily performed at an average level.The results of content analysis showed that the frame of the domestic media reports focused on three themes:Political. scientific and economic. On political topic. People’s Daily and Science and Technology Daily paid more attention to national interests, and the remaining three one had a global perspective. On scientific topic. People’s Daily concerned about the scientific content of life. Science and Technology Daily concentrated more on analysis and assessment in the field of science. The other three media reported on the popularity of new knowledge. In economic theme. People’s daily focused on the macroeconomic structure, while Southern Weekend and Southern Metropolis Daily tended to report the industry situation. Science and Technology Daily focused on the scientific fields of economic and21st Century Economic Report regarded micro industry and companies as mainstay.The paper used the perspective of news production to analyze. From three levels of profession awareness, media organization and external control, the study sorted out the influencing factors of the frame. Through focusing on the issue of climate change, which contained politics, science and economics, the study hoped to promoted the conclusion to related fields, thus exploring the further study of frame theory.
