Investigation Of Scientific Research Support Service In Chinese University Libraries

At present,the scientific research environment is developing towards digitalization,and the scientific research mode is developing towards process,data and collaboration.New environment and new technology brought opportunity to the library,also has brought more challenges at the same time,the traditional database retrieval,already can't satisfy the digital reference service,scientific research environment user designed deep knowledge,personality,proactive,valuation demand,library should actively pay attention to the demand of the scientific research personnel in the new environment,change the service means and service content,provide scientific support for the scientific research personnel services.For this reason,this study investigated the theoretical and practical research status of scientific research support service in university libraries at home and abroad by means of literature survey,and summarized and analyzed the research status of strategic research and practical research on scientific research support service in university libraries at home and abroad.In order to clarify the scientific research support service system and the specific content,research based on the joint information council of research life cycle theory,and comprehensive before the research of scholars,put forward the scientific research project life cycle is divided into scientific research project idea,application of scientific research project,research projects,scientific research and publishing,longterm preservation of scientific research achievements and influence reveals five stages;At the same time,a scientific research support service system based on the life cycle of scientific research projects is constructed.Result of foreign university library in the practice of the scientific research support services,early studies,by using the method of online survey research of Britain,the United States,Australia,part of the university library,and introduces its in data management plan,copyright and intellectual property rights,and open access to scholarly publishing,research/data storage and sharing,the author identifier created in guidance,scientific research achievements influence evaluation characteristic service,and sums up the foreign research support service in university library service objectives,service content,service security features.At the same time,in order to objectively understand the current status of domestic research support service of university library,find the current gap in support of scientific research in university library at home and abroad,and further promote the development of scientific research in colleges and universities library support services,the study selected the domestic 42 pairs of first-class university library as a research object,through the Internet survey methods from the columns,the scientific research support platform in support of scientific research,scientific research and data services,scientific research evaluation service four aspects to the domestic research support service of university library has carried on the investigation and analysis,and analyzes the current problems of domestic university library scientific research support services.Based on the theory and the investigation and analysis,in view of the above analysis of the problems of domestic library research support services,draw lessons from foreign advanced experience in the field of scientific research support service in university library,and puts forward the Suggestions to university library scientific research support services in China,namely clear positioning and service connotation,embed research support service to the whole process of digital research;Establish scientific research service infrastructure,and combine network service with offline service;Actively carry out scientific research data services to provide users with services based on the data life cycle;Expand the content of scientific research evaluation service and establish the sense of related service.
