Audiences are no longer satisfied with the traditional forms of reading newspapers,reading magazines,browsing webpages and so on.Short videos,which are short and concise,humorous and interesting,and close to life,have emerged as the times require.Within a few years,they have developed rapidly.The annual number of users of the mainstream short video APP,such as trembler and fast hand,has exceeded 1 billion.Short videos have become an indispensable part of people's life.The emergence of short video has changed the traditional way of video transmission.All kinds of short video APPs have become the first source of information for young people,and everyone may become the source of information,which makes the short video industry into a new era.In the new media era,the audience's concept also changes.This paper takes "new audience" as the research object.Compared with the relationship between "communication" and "reception" in previous mass communication studies,the "new audience" is not only the receiver of information,but also the producer and disseminator of information.At this time,combining with the "new audience" to analyze the value of short video transmission has profound significance both in theory and in practice.At present,the development of short video has not yet entered a mature stage,and various modes are still in the process of exploration.Based on this,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the problems and solutions of short video platform.This paper focuses on the analysis of the new audience's needs,audience's understanding,social needs and social roles of short videos,and demonstrates them by using reasonable comparative method,data analysis method and social survey research method.Under the guidance of the theoretical knowledge of communication,this paper makes a practical analysis of the current situation of short video Application based on the new audience's "use and satisfaction psychology",and analyses the development motive force,development mode and development direction of short video in the current social development.And in this paper,the research explores the problems of short video in communication and development,and how to solve the problems and put forward corresponding strategies and suggestions.The research of this article is mainly carried out in four parts.The first part mainly introduces the research background of short video,interprets the research metihods and related theories,and combs the research value and research status.The second part defines the short video and explores its development status at home and abroad.The third part of the paper,combined with questionnaires and interviews,analyses the Application and problems of new short video audiences.The fourth part combines the results of questionnaires and interviews,explores how to improve the communication strategies of new mobile short video audience release and sharing from the perspective of "use and satisfaction",and puts forward strategies and suggestions for the problems in short video communication.
