Today, with the rapid development of modern economy and the abundance of material life, museums that contain human precious spiritual and cultural wealth have acquired unprecedented opportunities for development. In the 1980s,the museum construction boom extended to Taiwan.Along with the rise of Taiwan's museum business, there is also the main consciousness of local ethnic minorities. Therefore, since the 1990's,display institutions with the theme of ethnic culture have begun to appear in front of the public, and the ethnic museum has emerged. For Taiwan's ethnic minorities who were in a relatively weak position during the fierce cultural conflict, the museum is not only a material entity, but also shoulders the important responsibility of inheriting ethnic culture and cohesive ethnic consciousness.Based on this, this article chose the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines, which is entirely based on ethnic minorities in Taiwan,as a research case.In the perspective of cross-cultural communication, the ethnic museum is used as a medium for media and its characteristics.Explaining the significance of constructing identity of the ethnic groups of Taiwan's ethnic minorities.Through the combing of the development process of the Taiwan's ethnic culture, this article seeks to compare the differences in the ethnic culture presented by different curatorial actors. The study found that as a special communication medium, ethnic museums that crossed the ethnic groups did provide a space for Taiwan's ethnic minorities to construct a cultural subject. However,in terms of development at this stage,it also has many limitations.First of all,in the overall atmosphere,Taiwanese society has not yet formed extensive attention on museums where ethnic minorities are the object of display. This has led to insufficient incentives for the creation and sustainable development of ethnic museums.Second, the separation of the museums of ethnic minorities is lacking in coordination and there is no unified guarantee.Failed to achieve an effective tandem of tribal resources of various ethnic groups;finally,in the cooperation with the ethnic museums, the return of curatorial rights to Taiwan's ethnic minorities does not mean that the cultural interpretation it sponsors is to remove the cultural imagination of others.
