| This thesis aims to systematically sort out the characteristics of the column Newsweek and the topic selection by studying the topic of Newsweek,and then analyze the characteristics of Newsweek in the topic selection work.The topic's preference is to influence the public attitude,audience evaluation and event resolution,so as to further study the shortcomings of Newsweek in the topic selection work,and propose corresponding strengthening strategies for the shortcomings.This paper mainly uses quantitative research methods.The Newsweek program is the research object,and the sample selection is a full sample,with a time span of 2009 to 2018.The reason for choosing the full sample is that the video of Newsweek provided by CCTV is not complete.The video of some years or months is missing,which makes it impossible to select the whole year sample.Therefore,the author chose a full sample to better reflect the trend and trend of the topic of Newsweek.The research is divided into four parts.The first part is a brief overview of the TV news magazine and Newsweek,and explains the total sample size and approximate distribution of the study.The second part analyzes the characteristics of CCTV's Newsweek.After analysis,it draws four characteristics,namely: attaching importance to the report of the topic selection,paying attention to the people's livelihood news topic,balancing the positive topic and the negative topic.And the use of the same problem collection method for the related topics.The third part compares the different topics of Newsweek and India's Truth Alone Prevails.The fourth part is to analyze the lack of topics in Newsweek.The three shortcomings of Newsweek in the topic selection are: single source of choice,the timeliness of the topic selection is poor,and the topic selection is homogeneous.In this regard,the fifth part puts forward the enlightenment of Newsweek to strengthen the topic selection work,which is to broaden the source of the topic,enhance the exclusivity of news topic selection and improve the ability of different topic selection. |
