As the major strategy for improving China's open economy system in the new era,the “Belt and Road” will lead Chinese enterprises to global markets,expand overseas business and participate in global competition.For those enterprises which have already start business overseas,how to build a good corporate image in the local area is of great significance for effectively carrying out corporate public diplomacy and building a good national image.At present,Chinese scholars either focus on Western media reports on Chinese enterprises,nor on Chinese national images in Arab media.However,there is rare specific research on the image of Chinese enterprises in the Arab media.This paper conducts a content analysis on Arabic media basing on frame theory and corporate social responsibility theory,in order to monitor Huawei's image in mainstream Arabic media.Quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis will be used to analyze reports selected from Asharq Al-awsat,Alittihad and Al-jazeera.net the most representative media in Arab world.This study hopes to provide inspiration for Chinese multinational private enterprises and for corporate public diplomacy through the case study of Huawei. |
