At present,the global chip products are mainly from the US,Japan and Europe,and the high-end market is almost monopolized by these three major regions.According to the latest statistics from the Semiconductor Industry Association(SIA),the size of the chip market in China and the US has increased from January to February 2017.China's chip market is the world's largest and fastest growing one,but too much dependent on foreign demand.We are really behind in the chip era.The chip has been built from scratch,including R&D cycle,production cycle and test cycle.The production cycle and test cycle are relatively fixed.Only the research and development cycle is difficult to ensure to be fixed,which is also a huge space for optimization.Due to rapid technological innovation,the life cycle of chip products is very short,so shortening the R&D cycle can enable to make the products enter the market earlier,which is the focus of project management.This paper takes the project progress management of company A's financial card chip research and development as the research object.Through A large number of discussions and views exchanges,looking at project data,etc.,grasps the project management situation of company A and analyzes the reasons affecting the development progress in the existing research and development project management.Based on chip R&D project trial-and-error highly cost and difficulty of the line fault characteristics,through the literature and case study,introducing of Integrated Product Development(IPD)thought to improve the company A smartcard chip project progress,and put forward A company project schedule management system optimization scheme based on the IPD.Take company A's financial card chip research and development project as an example,and compare the project progress before and after optimization.After optimization,all members of the project team will conduct task decomposition,timely follow up the plan,and timely and effective progress control.The optimized configuration management library(reuse of common modules)saves the development time of basic modules;The establishment of defect management library can quickly locate the problem and solve the problem according to the solution,greatly improving the project progress.
