The audio books first appeared in the United States in the 1960s,and gradually became popular in Europe and the United States.Audio books began to form an emerging industry in China in the 1980s.With the development of science and technology and the progress of society,people's reading styles and habits are gradually changing.The time of fragmentation and the need for fragmented reading put forward higher and higher requirements for the change of reading style.The appearance of audio books has changed the traditional text reading habits and liberated people's visual senses.The function has greatly extended people's hearing function,and the fragmented reading needs have been met accordingly.With the diversification of the form of access to knowledge and information,the market share of paper newspapers and periodicals is gradually occupied by electronic audio book products.The convenience of listening to audio books and unrestricted time and space and the variety of content attracts a large number of young people and office workers in the new era,the development of audio books has created increasingly significant economic and social values.In the Internet era,the products that dominate the market share of audio books are children's audio books.The main audiences at the beginning of audio books are visually impaired and disabled people,as well as children and the elderly.In the new media era,children that account for a quarter of the china population is still the main audience for the audio book market.The channels for children to use audio books are chosen by parents.Parents have become an important link between children's audio books and children.Parents' demand data based on children's use is the most direct driving force for children's audio book market.Therefore,this paper mainly selects the parents of children aged 0-9 as the research object,conducts questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews,summarizes the questionnaire results and interview materials,and analyzes the literature and data samples to find that parents are giving children choices,and what problems exist when using children's audio books,and how to choose,how to meet the needs of parents and children in the process of use,and through the analysis of parents in the process of using,summed up under new environment,parents have a multifaceted need for children's audio book development,and based on the needs of parents,it is possible to make feasible suggestions for the future development of children's audio books.This paper mainly includes two parts,namely the introduction and the main body of the article.The introduction mainly deals with the background analysis and literature review of the main part of the thesis and the research methods adopted in this paper.The main part of the article mainly covers five chapters.Firstly,the author explains the sample from sample selection,sample motivation,sample production and sample issuance and recovery.It explains the reasons for choosing a sample of children aged 0-9 and what is expected to be analyzed with this sample.Secondly,through the collected samples,the author analyzes the results from three aspects:user basic information,user usage habits and user demand behavior,and summarizes the use of the parent group of children's audio books.The specific performance in the paper,as well as through questionnaires and interview materials to summarize the user's use and the problems reflected in the use of the process.On the basis of the first two chapters of the sample survey analysis,the author chooses audio books for children in the light of the development of the new media era.And in different media eras,there will be different characteristics of use;the fourth chapter summarizes the interaction and needs of parents in the process of using children's audio books based on the media selection analysis of parents.The last chapter is in the above four based on the summary of the multifaceted needs of parents audio books development of the child in the new environment,based on the needs of parents in order to be able to put forward feasible suggestions for the future development of children's audio books.
