In recent years,a growing number of domestic companies have adopted the application of enterprise social media,and it has become more and more involved in the daily work of employees.Enterprise social media is a kind of social media that specially applied to work scenes.It is operated by the company,access and use rights are only open to internal members of the company.Compared with public social media,enterprise social media provides employees with a new way of communication and collaboration at work.The core design concept of social media is to help individuals build social network,promote their participation in social interaction,and obtain more information.Therefore,social capital is a particularly relevant factor to be considered when studying the use of social media.Employees are the important foundation of enterprise.How employees obtain more social capital for their own use is the key to improve their work performance and even promote the development of the organization.At present,there have been many studies on the impact of social media use on social capital,but there are relatively few studies in the discipline of journalism and communication on the special group of enterprise employees and the enterprise social media which only applied in work scenes.Therefore,the study of the use of enterprise social media and the influence of the use of enterprise social media on the social capital of employees have certain theoretical and practical value.In this dissertation,enterprise social media is selected as the research carrier and domestic company employees as the research object.In terms of research methods,quantitative research is the main research,and qualitative research is the supplem ent.In terms of research approach,the method of interview and questionnaire survey is adopted.Exploring the overall use of enterprise social media and the impact of the use of enterprise social media on employee social capital.The conclusions are as follows:(1)employees have different motivations to use enterprise social media,including information interaction,information acquisition,tool support and relationship maintenance.(2)different motivations have significant positive correlation with the structural dimension,relational dimension and cognitive dimension of social capital.(3)on the whole,employees have a high degree of dependence on enterprise social media,and the degree and motivation of use have a strong predictive effect on the sense of dependence.(4)the degree of employees'use and dependence on enterprise social media has a significant predictive effect on employees'overall social capital.That is,the higher the degree of use,the stronger the sense of dependence,the easier the employees to obtain social capital.
