Military conflict is closely related with a country's interest, and has always been sensitive and crucial in the global stage. The conflict between China and India has been lasting for several decades, including the Donglang Conflict in 2017.Besides China and India,Bhutan is also involved in the conflict, which makes it more complicated and special.Meanwhile,in the times of media diplomacy, media has also played a significant role in the Donglang Conflict. The country will convey its stand through media reporting and uses media to build country's global images.Based on the framing building theory, the paper adopts framing four functions and content analysis method to analyze international media's reporting on the Conflict. The main task and aim is to make a comparison of different media's reporting, and to analyze the potential factors that influence reporting by adopting homophily model. The results of research show that there is a obvious difference among international media concerning the frame building and reporting, and also both China and Indian media have not successfully built other countries' media frames. Moreover,a media's acceptance of other media's specific attributes does not mean it will accepts other attributes.Based on homophily model, the paper have also found that value distance, political proximity and trade relations have more or less influenced media's frame building, but not very strong and significant. Finally, the paper assumes the factors that affect media frame building are complicated.Besides the three factors above, others like interest involvement, geographical distance and foreign relations can also be taken into consideration.
