With the development of the times,the importance of the Internet as an infrastructure has become apparent increasingly.The use of live video,short video,games and other applications in daily life has gradually increased the requirements for the multicast capability of the network.The traditional IP multicast scheme is relatively complicated in terms of deployment and maintenance.In the context of increasingly complex network structures and requirements,it is more necessary for devices to build a multicast network that meets the needs quickly and easily.As an extended protocol of LDP,the MP2MP protocol can fully integrate the label forwarding capability of the MPLS system to build a multicast network that can support upper-layer applications quickly.However,as part of the MPLS protocol suite,the MP2MP protocol appears late and is rarely commercialized.At the same time,there are also inconsistencies in the implementation on various devices.In particular,there are large differences in the usage scenarios and implementation schemes of protocol resources,which may result in poor interoperability of MP2MP protocols and low resource utilization efficiency in complex networks.Based on the analysis of the actual operation of the MP2MP protocol,this paper focuses on the analysis of the status and maintenance of various resources in the protocol.Through the input and output in the scenario and the status of various resources,the resource maintenance strategy for guiding the MP2MP protocol is proposed.The paper first analyzes the process of the MP2MP protocol to support the rapid construction of a multicast network.It shows how to forward traffic through label forwarding entries.And clarify the definition and usage scenarios of various resources.For the LSP/Branch resources,the factors affecting the maintenance of these two types resources are studied,and the maintenance strategies based on the device role model are determined.At the same time,the problem of resource overload in the MP2MP protocol is studied.The paper determines the weight calculation model based on the delay strategy to improve the performance of the device in the resource overload scenarios.For the label resources,the reasonable state transition is designed by analyzing the usage scenarios of the labels,and the important attributes and flags of the label resources are analyzed and studied,so that the label resources can remain stable in the unstable network environment.In order to verify and analyze the resource maintenance strategy proposed in this paper,this paper selects Quagga as the development platform to design and experiment the prototype of the strategy.And also verifies the typical scenario through Quagga.This paper proposes a resource maintenance policy for the MP2MP protocol.For the oscillating network environment,the use efficiency of the MP2MP resources in the scenario such as path construction and overload recovery,is further improved.It is provided for resource research and business scheduling in further research.
