With the continuous expansion of the network scale and the diversification of network applications,the current era has put forward new requirements for network capacity and customizable services.The excellent forwarding capabilities of MPLS networks make it an increasingly important role in the current backbone.The MP2MP protocol is an MPLS-based multicast protocol that combines with multicast to better exploit the advantages of MPLS.This paper studies the establishment and maintenance of MP2MP bidirectional Label Switching Path,and finds that there is a "upstream-downstream relationship conflict" problem in MP2MP network.This problem can cause multiple nodes in the MP2MP network to re-establish the LSP and cause traffic interruption,which seriously affects the performance of the MP2MP network.According to the research in this paper,the problem is caused by two major reasons:link failure and node change LSP in the network.In response to this problem,the current mainstream technologies for solving this problem are MBB technology and fast rerouting technology.Research and analysis show that MBB technology can not reduce the packet loss in upstream-downstream relationship conflicts caused by link failures,and Fast Rerouting technology is not suitable for MP2MP network environments.Therefore,it is necessary to propose an improved solution to the problem of upstream-downstream relationship conflicts in the MP2MP network.This paper deeply studies the MP2MP protocol mechanism,and a large number of references have been read and compared.In addition,paper proposes an algorithm that can quickly reconnect traffic during node conflicts,and the performance of algorithm has been verified through theoretical analysis.Compared with MBB technology,the proposed algorithm can support conflicts caused by link failures.Compared with the fast rerouting technology,the algorithm is simpler and more targeted to the MP2MP network.Furthermore,this paper designs and develops the MP2MP prototype system,which supports the establishment and maintenance of the MP2MP bidirectional LSP.In this paper,the system is also used to test the algorithm.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the traffic loss of the nodes in the MP2MP network during the upstream-downstream relationship conflicts.
