With the rapid development of modern information technology,new Internet applications and services are continually emerging.Massive services are widely deployed on the Internet,and network bandwidth is exponentially increasing,which also places higher demands on the high availability of the network.The core business of e-commerce,finance,transportation and other industries all need network support.In this case,even if the backbone network only interrupts for a short time,it will lead to the failure of online business and cause significant economic losses.In this context,the high reliability of communication devices has increasingly become a key goal and basic requirement of network construction.The active/standby switch technology is an important solution to improve the high reliability of communication equipment.The dual-master backup strategy is the premise and key of the active/standby switch technology.The active board backup the data to the standby board through batch backup and real-time backup.The standby board recovers according to the backup message of the active board.When the active board is triggered by the fault or human factors,the standby board is upgraded to the active board and undertakes all the services of the front active board after the data smoothing.In order to ensure the maintenance of the multicast MP2MP(Multiple Point to Multiple Point)protocol and reduce the duration of failures,the key is to shorten the active/standby switch time.Based on MP2MP protocol,the active/standby switch technology under dual-master hot backup is studied in depth.This thesis takes advantage of the High Availability(HA)channel to design and implement MP2MP NSR system by analyzing the requirement of MP2MP NSR(None-Stop Routing)system.This thesis describes the design and implementation process of various functional modules,such as heartbeat detection,data backup,active/standby switch,data smoothing,and so on.A new backup strategy is proposed,which classifies the backup data according to the correlation and dependence of MP2MP protocol data structure,reduces the backup messages and improves the processing performance of the system.The data smoothing algorithm of the Non-Stop Forwarding is improved to solve the problem of the active/standby switch's low efficiency in the specific phase of establishing the MP2MP multicast tree in a specific scenario.The fast data smoothing algorithm is proposed,which avoids the deletion,rollback and reconstruction of MP2MP LSP in the switching process.The simulation results on the Quagga platform show that the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the active/standby switch time of adding the new node to the MP2MP multicast tree in a specific scenario,thus ensuring the maintenance of the MP2MP protocol and improving the high availability of the network.
