Buddha-like,as a buzzword popular on social networks in 2017,the heat of related topics never subsided. The emergence of various " Buddha-like " groups on the Internet has become a force of youth culture that cannot be ignored.More and more "post-1995generation" call themselves "Buddha-like youngsters",which not only reflects the prominent mentality of contemporary " Buddha-like " subculture group, but also reflects the current situation of spiritual emptiness and lack of faith of contemporary young people. This paper comprehensively USES the main research methods of in-depth interview, participatory observation and text analysis to understand the emergence and representation of " Buddha-like " subculture. From the perspective of psychoanalysis, this paper probes into the psychological characteristics of the " Buddha-like " subculture group. This paper focuses on the qualitative research method, takes the related research on the youth subculture of Birmingham school as the theoretical perspective, and interprets the style of " Buddha-like " subculture from the two levels of symbolization and behavior, and discusses the formation of the identity and group identity of "Buddha-like youngsters".The spiritual core of the "Buddha-like " subculture lies in the word "Xi"."Xi" is the existence of a gathering group, while " Buddha-like " is a changeable role, which embodies the expectations and aspirations of some people. It also means that once the trend of zeitgeist changes," Buddha-like " may no longer be applicable to the new social situation, but a new spiritual totem symbol.
