With the rapid development of the information age,the content of the design and the process of innovation are constantly changing and being updated,leading that different fields need to have different design and development methods.Wearable devices are developing rapidly,but there are many problems with the wearable devices,such as the serious homogenization.the weak innovation,and the unclear positioning.How to find a reasonable balance between wearable devices and innovative design methods is a topic that needs to be studied,and it is also the focus of this dissertation.In the field of intelligent design,a lot of research projects are committed to the development of smart wearable devices to better serve humans,including providing convenience,solving life problems,and managing physical health.etc.This trend also demonstrates the need to explore methods to design and develop wearable devices.Based on the premise of emotional design and intelligent design,this dissertation is mainly to discuss the basic design elements and starting points of wearable devices,and propose the design and development methods of smart wearable devices,so as to provide innovative method support for the design and development of related products in the future.Based on the combination of theoretical research and practice,this dissertation firstly comprehensively collects,organizes and summarizes related products and research results in the field of smart wearables,and then classifies the existing design concepts of wearable devices,and proposes a wearable method model,the"Human?Technology+Data"Innovation Design Model(referred to as the "HTD"Model),which is suitable for the design and development of most wearable devices.In this model,the unpredictable design problems of a highly innovative wearable device are transformed into specific problems of divergent thinking from the three elements of "H","TT"and"D".Specifically,according to the design features of wearable devices."HH" represents"Human" who can create technology,and they are also the design goal and service core of wearable devices.Wearable devices can be designed from the perspective of human perception,interaction,and culture;"T"represents"Technology",which is the basis for intelligentization of wearable devices,and the main technologies of wearable devices include communication technology,chip technology,sensors,and flexible materials:"D"represents "Data",which is the product of technology.and it is ultimately extracted.processed,and served to humans.By thinking from three elements,designers can systematically analyze the relationship among them.and finally draw a concrete implementation plan to quickly and effectively create meaningf-ul and innovative wearable devices.Based upon the "HTD" Innovation Design Model,this dissertation successfully carried out a research of the smart massage shoes "Adapshoe",which further verify the rationality and feasibility of this model and provide a reference value for creating a wider product development design method.In addition.the use of the model is also the process of continuously improving the design and development of wearable devices and expanding its innovative form,thus promoting the development of the entire wearable design field.In summary,the main contributions of this dissertation are as follows:(1)Based on the field of wearable innovation design.this dissertation proposes a"Human + Technology + Data"method model for wearable device design and development through a large number of literature reviews and provides an efficient and detailed design implementation framework.(2)Based on the model framework,the author carries out a practical study on the case of the intelligent massage shoes "Adapshoe",and describes the complete design process and user test results of the smart massage shoes in detail,further validating the guiding and innovative role played by the model in the practice process.(3)The design results obtained in the practice of the smart massage shoes are innovative and inspiring,providing a reasonable design for the healthy life of sedentary people and reference value for the research related to the design and development of smart wearable devices.
