At present,with the rapid development of industrial technology,3D printing technology has become more and more mature,can print plastic or metal parts and molds,and more and more 3D printing products are used in model mold manufacturing,automobile manufacturing,aerospace,cultural creativity,biomedical and personalized customization.However,some researchers believe that the reason why 3D printing is not popular,one of the reasons is that the accuracy of printing is not clear,especially the leveling system,which needs to be optimized by automation to effectively improve the accuracy.In particular,with the development of FDM desktop 3D printers in recent years,the demand for 3D printers for homes is increasing,so the operation simplification requirements for the leveling system of FDM desktop 3D printers are becoming more and more urgent.This paper optimizes the leveling system of FDM desktop 3D printer;installs the distance measuring sensor on the nozzle of the printer,measures the distance between the nozzle and the printing station,and feeds the measurement result back to the single chip microcomputer.Four stepper motors are installed at the four corners of the printer's print station to connect to the microcontroller.Then,the MCU compares the previously fed back value with the originally set leveling value,and submits the calculation result to the stepping motor to control the up and down movement of the stepping motor,and finally achieves the leveling result.The results show that the rectangular small box made by the FDM desktop 3D printer optimized by the leveling system and the original FDM desktop 3D printer not optimized by the leveling system are detected in the 3D scanning technology.It was found that the precision of the small box made by the optimized design is much higher than that of the small box made by the manua l leveling 3D printer.This paper realizes the automatic leveling of the FDM desktop 3D printer by installing the ranging sensor on the nozzle of the FDM desktop 3D printer and installing the stepping motor at the four corners of the console,further simplifying the work before the printer works.Operation,and effectively improve the printing accuracy,the next step is to make the other operating systems of 3D printer more automated and intelligent.
