FDM 3D printing technology is favored by more and more researchers because of its low cost and wide application.Different process parameters will stimulate different working performance of FDM 3D printing equipment,and the performance of the final printed parts will also be different.Based on the self-designed open source FDM 3D printing equipment,this dissertation studies the forming effects under different process parameters through a large number of experiments and analysis.and improves the forming precision and partial mechanical properties of FDM 3D printing parts.The main research work is as follows:(1)The main error sources of existing FDM 3D printing equipment are summarized and analyzed.According to the process chain of FDM 3D printing technology,the factors that may cause errors in the installation and maintenance of printing equipment,data transmission and processing,parts printing processing,and post-processing of parts are analyzed in detail,and propose corresponding improvement methods for controllable factors.It provides theoretical support for the production of open source FDM 3D printing equipment and the implementation of optimization experiments.(2)The design and construction of the open source FDM 3D printing equipment was completed,including the design and installation of mechanical structures such as the outer frame and XYZ axis transmission device;part of the module design of the hardware circuit;and the configuration and programming of the control firmware.Used to test the printing of design parts after installation and commissioning.(3)The orthogonal test was designed for layer thickness,filling speed and filling rate.The open source characteristics of FDM 3D printing equipment were used to complete the configuration of the above three process parameters and print out the test pieces.The optimal horizontal combination of the formed parts in the horizontal and vertical directions is obtained through the analysis of the test results.(4)In order to improve the mechanical properties of FDM 3D printed parts,the test pieces are designed according to the national standard,and through tensile and compression tests,The effects of linear filling algorithm,offset filling algorithm and grid filling algorithm on the tensile and compressive properties of the molded parts were investigated.The optimal algorithm was selected for path filling,and the tensile and compression tests under different filling rates were further designed to optimize the mechanical properties of the molded parts.
