The parent-child conversations in museums reflects their learning process,and it's also the result of their learning behavior.However,limited research pays attention to parent-child visitors' conversations in museums.This study based on the exhibition of "Electric Dragon" in Zhejiang Science and Technology Museum,conducted direct observation,video and audio recording,semi-structured interviews and on-the-spot test to investigate the visit experience of 20 pairs of parent-child visitors,of which children aged 7-9.The research aims to explore how the parent-child visitors communicate with each other and their learning styles reflected by the conversations,the research also analyses the learning results of different communication style.The results have showed that:(1)most of the parent-child visitors adopted a cooperative communication style;(2)the content of parent-child conversations mainly depends on parents' communication style(control or communicate);(3)the learning results also depends on parents'communication style.With controlling parents,parent-child visitors will have better learning results.
