An Automatic Paper Data Processing System Based On PHP

Academic papers cited by authoritative databases at home and abroad are one of the most important indicators for evaluating teacher's work.But the information of SCI papers saved in most of those databases,e.g.Web of Science,is in English,so it is must to translate the data into Chinese and then obtain the statistics by hand.But those manual means are inefficiency.Because of large scale and complexity of the data pattern,along with requirements of confirmations from authors,it is quite time consuming.This thesis concentrates on the implement of an automatic management web system of academic papers,which can analyze paper data automatically and infer the name with high efficiency.The thesis solves problems as follows:(1)How to extract necessary information from source data,especially English names of own school authors.(2)How to translate the authors' English names into their Chinese names with high accuracy.The thesis has following main innovations.(1)An effective algorithm flow is presented,which can solve the problem in data processing and name matching.(2)The systems can make out the authors' Chinese names or final statistics automatically just by raw data.The concrete work is presented as follows.In algorithm,we learn about the main processes of the tasks in detail,and analyze a kind of data patterns of papers,then design an algorithm based on it.Also the efficiency and accuracy is checked.In the aspect of system design,PHP is adopted for designing web system.The papers can be managed by users online,so the accuracy is ensured.For web page design,Bootstrap framework is used for design interface,so the system can be user-friendly.For management part's design,ThinkPHP framework is applied.After the system is designed,using the raw data from 1107 SCI papers of our university in 2015,we compare the results counted by hand with ones by our system,and the system has over 86.81 percent accuracy on translating authors' names.Tests for security,stress and compatibility are also completed.The system is of high practical value for the automatic translation of academic papers,which can greatly improve the efficiency of the statistical work of university papers.
