The Design And Implementation Of Project Management System For State Grid Materials Company Based On SAP

The project management module has not been activated in the SAP-ERP system currently applied by State Grid Materials Company.The project business can only be managed by internal order method,which cannot meet the project definition,WBS structure management,project overview and budget control requirements.At the same time,it is unable to meet the regular(monthly)information project and management consulting project budget execution data reported to the headquarters decision-making system,affecting the intensive project evaluation.Considering the current management requirements of the State Grid Materials Company for the project centralized management department and the construction management department,and considering the current application status of the project management system of most material companies,the construction and implementation of the system is proposed.Process design and implementation of several business category projects such as information projects,science and technology projects,management consulting projects,fixed asset projects,technical transformation projects,and overhaul projects.It has realized six functional modules,namely WBS structure management,project release,budget control and release,service procurement,invoice verification,and issue project final report.Core functions include project release,project budget version,project budget,project control budget release,project budget control strategy,project annual budget strength control management,project service procurement demand report,project service purchase application approval,project service procurement demand bidding processing,project service purchase order creation,project service purchase order approval,invoice verification,service contract progress confirmation,service confirmation order printing,service contract payment,service contract settlement,etc.The integration of the system with the main data management platform,the project repository management system,and the financial management and control system is realized,and the unification of the master data is realized;the project budget release process is optimized,and it's directly issued to each unit ERP system through the national network unified project repository management system and projects are automatically created,the workload of business and financial personnel is reduced,and work efficiency is improved;the project management and control related to the project,the fund management and control and the financial management and control system are connected and implemented.The application of the system standardizes the setting dimensions and project management rules of the project centralized management department and the construction management department,so that all departments of the State Grid Materials Company will remain consistent in the project management process.The integration of the system and the project reserve platform meets the management requirements of the State Grid Headquarters Development Department for the project plan;and the integration with the financial management and control system meets the financial accounting needs.
