A Cognitive Study Of "belt And Road" Initiative By Overseas Students From The Perspective Of Communication

As a major decision of the Chinese government to achieve win-win cooperation with the rest of the world,the “Belt and Road” initiative will have an important impact on the political,economic,social and cultural aspects of China and other neighboring countries.The public's understanding,cognition and feedback of the initiative are not only the most direct manifestation of its communication effect,but also will have an important role and influence on the concrete implementation.As the representatives of the public and intellectuals in various countries,the overseas students' cognition of Belt and Road initiative is representative and indicative in terms of the effect of communication,so it has become the study of the spread of the Belt and Road Initiative.An important aspect of the effect that must be paid attention to.On the basis of questionnaire investigation and in-depth interview,this paper,from the unique perspective of communication psychology,makes a deep analysis and discussion on the cognition of Chinese “Belt and Road” initiative by overseas students.Through the study,it is found that most foreign students have a certain degree of understanding of the concept,history and role of “Belt and Road Initiative”,the motivation,time,location,characters,process and influence of the initiative,and the main sources of information are newspapers and periodicals.Radio,television,Internet and mobile media,as well as teaching,meetings and lectures and other activities.At the same time,the Chinese Government's extensive publicity of the “Belt and Road” initiative,and its attitude towards foreign students,behavior,etc.,has had an important impact.Therefore,the realization of “Belt and Road” initiative communication innovation,undoubtedly has very important theoretical value and practical significance.
