Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Domestic Data Journalism Practice

In recent years,data journalism has become a hot word in the era of big data,the domestic media has carried out the exploration and experiment of data journalism practice,many media have successively opened the data news column,which provides the effective model for domestic scholars to carry out data journalism research.This paper choose the domestic representative four big data news: sohu digital way,netease number read,surging news "the number of class",xinhua news of the data as the research object,based on the research conclusions of domestic and foreign scholars on data journalism,using content analysis,the statistics of news reports from the day of the opening up to the 31 st of December,2017,From the five perspectives of data source,data processing,data presentation,news selection and news team,this paper summarizes the practice status and characteristics of the four major data news programs in China,to explore the problems existing in the domestic data journalism practice,and propose corresponding countermeasures for the future development.Through the analysis of the four data news columns,it is found that there are several problems in the domestic data journalism practice.First,the sources of data have certain limitations,and the raw data is not clear enough.Second,the data processing method is too simple and lacks deep excavation.The third,data presentation mode is too single,and the visualization level is low.Fourthly,the news selection is not balanced and the coverage is narrow.Fifth,the news team is not complete and the number of professionals is small.Aiming at these problems,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to the practice of domestic data news.First,we need to improve the data literacy of data producers.Second,we should strengthen domestic data opening.Third,we should accelerate the establishment of the media's own database.Fourth,we should constantly improve the construction of the data journalism team.Fifthly,we should innovate the visual way.At the same time,the future development of domestic data news is also prospected.First,predictive reporting will be a new direction for its development.Second,the combination of VR technology will become a new way of data embedding.Third,productization will become the new path of its operation.Fourth,personalization,customization,gamification will become its development trend.
