| With the deepening of data openness in various countries,the growth of data news related research has become a major phenomenon in the field of news communication in recent years.The core controversy about data news has always been the object of academic attention.Nowadays,more and more scholars begin to pay attention to the narrative of data news.Through the study of six domestic data news platforms and their works,it is found that there is a problem of "emphasizing data while ignoring stories" in many of the current data.Therefore,the author wants to explore how to use data news to tell a good story,which has practical value and practical significance.Storytelling is a popular and widely accepted method of reporting.Xinhua's "data news" has made some explorations and practices in storytelling,and its reports are typical.Therefore,this paper takes Xinhua's "data news" as the research object,and uses literature research,text analysis and case analysis to analyze it.In the introduction part,the research results of predecessors on this subject are summarized and sorted out.The first chapter explains the new connotation of data news from the perspective of narratology,and demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of data news storytelling.In the second chapter,the author combines text analysis and case analysis to make a deep research on the narrative thinking,narrative characteristics,narrative structure and narrative trend of the "data news" narrative in Xinhua.Chapter three explores the problems existing in the storytelling of data news,focusing on the negative impact of storytelling.Chapter IV is also the core part of this paper,mainly outlines the strategy of telling good stories of data news in the new media era.Through the research,the author finds that storytelling brings benefits but also has some disadvantages.Therefore,in the process of using this method,we should not only grasp the "degree",but also adhere to journalism professionalism,achieve the coexistence of objectivity and authenticity,and ensure the healthy and orderly development of data news storytelling. |
