Cloud-based Communication Protocol And Control Protocol Fusion Technology

With the rapid development of cloud computing technology,more and more non-computing devices need to connect to the cloud platform,the printer is such one of the non-computing devices.In addition,Mobile Internet changes people's lifestyle,and people want to print by mobile phone whenever and wherever possible.Therefore,there are more and more research on cloud printing.Because there are so many printers,print protocols are different,too,and the printer is deployed in Intranet,people can't access to the printer through Internet.Thus how to achieve integration between control protocol from cloud platform to printer and communication protocol from printer to cloud platform becomes a problem.Based on the analysis of related print protocols and the research on protocol integration,this paper proposes a system based on proxy gateway middleware to help local printer to connect to cloud platform and achieve multi-protocol function mapping.It integrates the communication protocol from printer to cloud platform with the control protocol from cloud platform to printer.On the control protocol,the proxy gateway and the cloud platform communicate with each other through the MQTT protocol network.The cloud platform pushes the print job to the agent gateway system bound the printer,and the proxy gateway maps the MQTT protocol to the IPP protocol.On the communication protocol,the proxy gateway system maps IPP protocol response to the corresponding HTTP protocol interface after getting the printer and the print job status information,to achieve the communication protocol from printer to cloud platform.In addition,the system based on the proxy gateway middleware has a certain universality that can be extended to other non-computing terminal devices.Through the experimental of the functional module for the agent gateway middleware system and the analysis of the network packets of the related protocols,the experimental results show that the middleware system based on the proxy gateway can achieve the function mapping between the various protocols well,and complete the control protocol from cloud platform to printer and the communication protocol from printer to cloud platform to verify feasibility of the protocol fusion approach.
