WAP Gateway Design---Application Of Wireless Transaction Protocol In WAP Gateway

In this paper, the author presents a new scenario of WAP Gateway under thebackground of the rising Mobile Internet. First, the author brings forward an abbreviatedintroduction of the Mobile-Internet services and the origin and features of WAP Protocol.After that, the author uses the method of Protocol Engineering to explore the mostcharacteristic protocol layer of WAP protocol哪WTP layer. The feasibility andperformance of WTP Protocol are proved in several point of view. Next, the authorexpatiates the general frame of WAP Gateway, including both structures of sub-modulesand external interface. And next, the author talks about the problem of multi-threadprogramming which may be encounterd during the implementation of WAP Gateway.Finally, the test scheme of WAP Gateway is given to prove the system's performance andthe result is analysed to show the practicability of the design.
