Research On VoLTE Network Design And Practice

In order to improve the user's voice service experience in 4G network,China Unicom has launched VoLTE related construction to transform 4G voice solutions from CSFB/SVLTE to VoLTE.The call control of VoLTE is carried by the EPC over the IMS,and the voice solution based on the network protocol(Voice Over IP)is realized.The continuity efficiency is greatly improved and the high quality voice/video service can be provided.Synchronized with different voice synchronization,packet domain architecture is the premise of LTE network and the foundation of it.In order to achieve a better coverage of the whole network voice solution,it is necessary to complete the whole network deployment for the network.In addition,we need to get the support of the three parts of the core network,radio access network and terminal,so that it can be further optimized,but because of the current technical constraints,the questions are still difficult to do.Based on the analysis of the current network status,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the main network solutions: use,dual standby and voice drop.In this thesis,the author analyses the implementation mechanism of VoLTE service,and on the basis of the analysis results,we carry out a scheme design for the application of VoLTE in each scene,and test the designed scheme in a certain place.The results show that the VoLTE can meet the requirements of the current network status.
