| Enterprise Resource Planning or ERP system which a combination of data and information,was created as the next generation of MRP II,where,through the ERP can coordinate the use of software to support the activity of the firm's activities.Research findings on the performance of ERP systems are dubious,despite the fact that regardless they have potential advantages.Despite the advantages,not all ERP system implementations have been successful.Numerous ERP projects fail because ERP system is an investment with high costs,risky venture and high complexity.There are many research findings on ERP systems implementation,but the results are uncertain.Firms that implement ERP systems must be concerned with success,not just at the point of adoption but also in post implementation.Closely related to the ERP systems implementation process are similar dimensions that operate during post implementation stage of system operation.The purpose of this research is to provide further insights into the impacts of several aspects of ERP system post implementation on firm performance by financial improvement measurement.There is relatively little literature to investigate the relationship between ERP system implementation of Indonesia firms and firm performance using objective financial data,especially in the post implementation stage.Therefore,this research also contributes to the literature on the impacts of ERP system post implementation on firm performance in Indonesia.This research also attempts to clarify the effect of ERP system post implementation success or failure to the Indonesia.The results of the research can be used as the basis of investment decision making related to financial improvement performance and implements ERP system,more ever the results of the research can be used as one of the information in considering the decision to implement the ERP system related to the influence of the implementation on the financial of the firm.This research contains of four chapters.Chapter one is introduction.It contains of the research background,purpose of research,overview of literature review,and research content.This research focused on firms operating and listing in Indonesia Stock Exchange or IDX until the end of 2016 and performed a survey of 543 Indonesia firms.The main research focused on the impact ERP post implementation on firm improvement performance.The research also focused on to establishing whether other variables(top management support,team work,user involvement,external support,technology infrastructure,data analysis and migration,strong ERP Products)affect firm performance through financial improvement performance.Theoretical model presented in the chapter two explains definitions of the variables,independent and dependent variables,proposed theoretical model,and research hypothesis.There are seven hypotheses that conclude in this research.Chapter three is about the research design used in the research.Chapter three focuses about how this research instrument,questionnaire design and data collection and regression model.In research design part,the researcher showed the instrument and measurement which is the variables,questionnaire,and improvement financial ratios as well as the scale of measurement.Chapter four explains data analysis and the results of hypotheses testing,and discussed the role of variables,theoretical contributions,and practical recommendation of the research.Then in data analysis,the researcher showed the reliability and validity test to see if the data was valid for use.In this research the researcher used IBM SPSS Statistic 20 analysis software.Then correlation analysis of sample data and regression analysis were made for the verification and explanation of hypotheses.It was made clear through the results of regression analysis and the test,that a few factor of ERP system post implementation has impact to firm performance. |
