With the rapid development of new technologies such as data mining and internet of things,the level of information technology is increasing gradually in universities.However,traditional campus management systems have many problems such as low utilization of data resources and non-sharing of information data between systems,so it is difficult to meet the emerging new demands of universities.Therefore,it is of great significance to study smart campus systems based on data mining.This paper proposes many problems in the traditional orientation of Yunnan Engineering Vocational College,such as many links,serious information islands,low data utilization,etc.A smart campus orientation management system based on data mining is designed and implemented.The paper firstly analyzes the background,significance and research content of the system.Secondly,the paper analysis detailedly system requirements and processes and the system was modeled using UML tools.Then,six major functional modules of the system are designed based on the B/S architecture,and data mining,Maven,and Java EE technologies are integrated into the system.Finally,Apriori,an association rule algorithm,was used to analyze the relationship between student's college entrance examination scores and the scores of the school curriculum and the results of student's school curriculum.The decision tree algorithm C4.5 was used to predict the students' graduation assessment scores,and to find association rules between,college entrance examination scores,school scores,and school curriculum.The results can provide scientific basis for the school to make enrollment plans,curriculum settings,student's choice of specialty and further promote the development of schools and students.The system has a high utilization rate of data and achieves functions such as opening new students,score mining prediction,sharing information resources,and system integration.After the test was passed,the system was deployed in the Yunnan Engineering Vocational College for trial operation.Observed,the system was operating stably,has basically reached the expected goal,and verified the stability and reliability of the system.At the same time,the development cost of the system is low,and each module of the system has high reusability and strong expansibility,which can provide reference for subsequent research.
