Scholars are important explorers, disseminators, and promoters of scientific knowledge and academic works.Doing a good job of evaluation by scholars is of great significance for improving research and promoting scientific development.Fair and normative scholar evaluation is not only conducive to academic innovation, but also has a certain incentive effect on the growth and development of scientific research teams.China's current scholars' evaluation methods mainly include qualitative peer review and quantitative bibliometric methods. The bibliometric methods mainly include h-index and citation analysis. The traditional evaluation method helps to improve the literature retrieval and analysis as well as predict research trends and research frontiers. After years of research and development, its theoretical system and empirical research have become mature, becoming the most important and common in current scholars' evaluation practice.Instructions.However,there are many disadvantages in traditional scholars' evaluation methods, such as time lag and implied motivation. The arrival of Web2.0 has created an online scientific research and communication environment. On the one hand, the form of scientific research results has become increasingly abundant;on the other hand, the academic impact manifestations are not limited to the amount of articles issued, quoted,h index and other indicators, but also include Browse, download, discuss, report, etc.Traditional scholars' evaluation indicators have not been able to fully measure the influence of scholars, and their limitations and defects have gradually emerged. In order to make up for the shortcomings of the traditional evaluation methods and comply with the requirements of Web2.0,Altmetrics came into being.Since its birth,Altmetrics has attracted the attention of many scholars, but most of the research is focused on the Altmetrics theory and tools, and empirical research is still not deep enough. The traditional indicators do not reflect the full extent of scholars' influence. The diversity of Altmetrics indicators offers the possibility to evaluate the multi-dimensional effects of different types of academic achievements. This article uses factor analysis, principal component analysis and correlation analysis.Select the comprehensive Altmetrics indicator tool Plum analysis data from the University of Pittsburgh scholars, and collect the corresponding traditional indicators data from the web of science, and build a principal component analysis model based on the principal component analysis of Altmetrics data and traditional indicators to measure Altmetrics and traditional indicator data comprehensive scores, and comparison of discipline distribution differences between higher Altmetrics indicator composite scores and higher traditional indicator scores, and whether scholars with higher Altmetrics indicator scores are more likely to obtain more traditional indicator scores. In addition, the paper discusses the correlation between the scores of the two measurement systems and further explores the correlation between the two measurement mechanisms and between the various indicators within each mechanism. The study found that: Altmetrics indicators and traditional indicators are not related, and there are significant differences in the distribution of Altmetrics scores among different disciplines.Only some scholars with higher Altmetrics scores are more likely to obtain higher traditional index scores. It can be seen that Altmetrics indicators and traditional indicators measure the influence of scholars from different aspects, and Altmetrics indicators and traditional indicators are not a substitute and an alternative relationship, but are complementary and mutually reinforcing relationships. Therefore,in the process of future use,the evaluation of scholar influence should be multi-dimensional and comprehensive. It is not only necessary to evaluate the academic influence of scholars, but also to focus on the social influence of scholars. Finally, this paper integrates qualitative and quantitative, formal and informal communication channels, constructs evaluation models for scholars' influence, and further constructs a two-dimensional econometric model that integrates social influence and academic influence, and places scholars' academic influence and social influence in two dimensions.Coordinates are presented and analyzed, hoping to provide a broader and deeper perspective for academic research and scholar evaluation.
