A lot of time and effort in Bei Jing Institute of Machinery Equipment Research are spent on tens of new projects every year.The traditional fragmented project management methods cannot meet the needs of the Institute for the overall control of all projects.Therefore,the Institute of mechanical equipment intends to build the project management system.In the new system,the efficiency of the project management is improved.This paper studies the project management system of Bei Jing Institute of Machinery Equipment Research in respect of system requirements analysis,system design and system implementation of software engineering management ideas.First of all,based on the analysis of the current project management of mechanical equipment,the case diagram is utilized to analyze the main users of the project management system using UML technology to understand the user of the system functional requirements and non-functional requirements.Secondly,based on the analysis of system functional requirements and non-functional requirements analysis,B/S three layer structure is designed.Functional structure,class diagram and timing diagram is utilized the specific business functions of the system.The E-R diagram is utilized for describing the main content and data storage relations in the system.Finally,the lightweight J2 EE framework with Struts2+Spring+Hibernate is built for the overall framework of the system.On the basis of this framework of project management,project contract management Project cost management,project schedule management,project library maintenance and management,information integration,user information management and system user communication are realized in the proposed system.By optimizing the system database and automatic backup and recovery of the system,the system can meet two non-functional requirements of the system.The test results of the project management system shows that this system meets the needs of managing a large number of research projects.The efficiency of the new system has been improved.In the mean time,the cost of projects management has been reduced.Based on the automatic backup system and the database optimization,the performance and security of the system can meet users' non-functional requirements.
